The Multiplex Vaginal Panel PCR test is specifically designed to detect and differentiate bacterial vaginosis (BV), vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC), and trichomoniasis (TV).
The most common causes of vaginitis include bacterial vaginosis, vulvovaginal candidiasis (yeast infection), and trichomoniasis, which all present with similar symptoms, and can occur as coinfections.
